Make the trip during school-hour traffic. A shorter route on the map may still be harder every morning.

A previous ballot shows what happened—not what will happen. Places and applicants change each year.

Look at programmes, CCAs, learning support and the environment your child is likely to enjoy.

Consider student care, grandparents, siblings and how the school fits the family’s weekly rhythm.
Based on MOE guidance as of September 2026.
P1 registration runs online over several phases. Register in the earliest phase your child is eligible for; if unsuccessful, you can continue in the next phase they qualify for.
It depends on your child’s citizenship and connections to the school, such as a sibling, parent, staff, alumni, volunteer, church or clan link. Use MOE’s phase checker for your child’s exact eligibility.
Phase 1 is for children with a sibling in the school. Phase 2A covers specified school connections, Phase 2B includes certain volunteer, church, clan and community links, while Phases 2C and 2C Supplementary are for children still without a place.
Yes. Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents register from Phase 1 to 2C Supplementary when eligible. International students follow a separate process and are considered after SC and PR children.

This notice explains how SGSchoolMap’s school-search features and the external services they use handle information.
Postal-code lookups and distance calculations run in your browser using a downloaded dataset. Search and shortlist selections are held in the current page’s memory; the application does not save them in an account or browser storage for future visits. This is separate from information processed by analytics, hosting and external content services.
If you choose the location feature and allow your browser to share your location, SGSchoolMap uses your coordinates to find nearby schools and display your position through Google Maps. Those coordinates are passed to Google Maps. You can decline or revoke location permission in your browser settings and use postal-code search instead.
SGSchoolMap uses Google Analytics 4 to understand site usage. Analytics loads when public pages open and may use cookies to measure visits and interactions. Google receives information such as browser and device details, page activity and IP addresses during collection. Google states that GA4 does not log or store IP addresses. See Google’s analytics data information.
You can manage cookies through your browser. Blocking cookies alone may not stop analytics requests. Google also offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers.
The website loads Google Maps, school data from data.gov.sg, postal and uniform resources from GitHub or GitHub Pages, and school website icons through Google. Google Maps may load before you request your location.
These connections, and website hosting, may process technical request information such as your IP address and browser details. External providers handle information under their own policies. See the Google Privacy Policy, how Google uses information from partner sites, and GitHub’s Privacy Statement. Google’s Privacy Policy is incorporated into this notice by reference for Google Maps features.
Advertising is currently disabled on SGSchoolMap. Google ownership-verification markers remain in place, but do not themselves serve ads.

SGSchoolMap is an independent tool for families researching schools in Singapore. It is not an official MOE admissions service.
School details, locations, uniform information and other content are provided for general reference. Source data can change, and information may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate. Check current information with MOE and the relevant school before making decisions.
SGSchoolMap does not determine registration eligibility, admission priority or school placement. A search result, shortlist or distance estimate does not guarantee admission.
Displayed distances are straight-line estimates between map coordinates. They may differ from official home-school-distance categories and do not represent walking or driving routes. Use MOE’s Primary 1 registration guidance and its linked official distance-checking services for registration decisions.
SGSchoolMap includes Google Maps features and content. Their use is subject to the then-current Google Maps Additional Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
External websites and data services have their own terms and policies. Their availability and content may change.
We’re two working parents who created SGSchoolMap to help families make better-informed decisions about their child’s primary school.
Choosing a school means balancing practical questions: Which schools are nearby? What would the daily journey look like? How do registration results compare? What might suit your child and your family?
SGSchoolMap brings school information, maps and comparisons together so you can explore your options more easily. We hope it helps you build a thoughtful shortlist and have more informed conversations as a family.
Every child and family is different. Our aim is to help you find a school that fits your circumstances.
SGSchoolMap is an independent project and is not affiliated with MOE or any school. Please confirm registration requirements, eligibility and school details with the official sources before making decisions.
